Dance Team

2008 saw the birth of New Horizon’s very own dance team

Headed up by Shayda Meredith, the team dance week after week at our Sunday morning services, as well as performance pieces for special events.

Why we Dance …

“David, wearing a linen ephod, danced before the LORD with all his might” 2 Samuel 6v14.

Dance is an important part of worship and gives people another way to express themselves to God, many examples of this can be found in the Bible. Dance is used in celebration, praise, spiritual warfare and prophecy.

We encourage anyone who comes along on a Sunday to feel free to dance in the meetings if they so wish.
