Prison Ministry

New Horizons Church believes in community, and, like Jesus, the effect that a person or group of people can have upon a place.

Following the heart of Christ, Senior Pastor Ian Nundy sets an example of this love of community through his regular visits to HMP Wakefield Prison, a high-security institution situated in the core of Wakefield City Centre. Giving of his own time and self, Pastor Ian worships with the inmates and shares a Word from God with them, bringing a source of light into a dark place.

Like Jesus, we want to bring love and hope to a lost and dying world, and through these visits believe that we are taking a step in the right direction.
