Lead Pastors
Ian & Julie Nundy
Prior to pioneering the church, Ian worked as an Internal Auditor in one of the leading banks in the UK, and as a lecturer in Business Studies at Bradford College. Julie worked for the Inland Revenue as a tax officer, before relocating home to be a mother of their four children: Joshua, Bethan and twin boys, Samuel and Joel. Ian & Julie served for many years on the leadership team of Abundant Life Church, Bradford, learning hands on ministry knowledge and skills before going to Bible College in 1993.
After returning from Bible College, they began pioneering into Dewsbury, through home meetings, street evangelism and community action projects to help the poor and needy. January 1998 saw the formal launch of New Horizons Church in Dewsbury, West Yorkshire. Since that time the church has grown and expanded to become a regional centre with people from many local towns and cities becoming part of the New Horizons family.
Ian & Julie have a burning passion to see a large and thriving multi cultural, multi location church and movement that reaches and transforms families and raises up disciples and leaders able to change communities, transform cities and impact the nations with the gospel.
Senior Leadership
Ryan & Rachel Malyk
Ryan and Rachel joined the church in 2003 when they accepted Christ for the first time. Since then they have grown in wisdom, character and passion for God. Knowing each other from attending Heckmondwike Grammar school together, God worked miraculously in their lives to lead them into marriage on 12th November 2005.
Since then they have had two wonderful children, Naomi and Elijah, who Rachel now cares for full time. Together they lead the youth ministry, Freedom Generation, as well as Rachel’s oversight of our prayer room and is one of our worship leaders.
They both long to see the youth of our nation led into an intimate relationship with their creator, full restoration in the whole family and seeing every sphere of society transformed into the likeness God’s kingdom.
